This week we also have our Terry Fox Walk. The students are asked to wear red to symbolize our National Pride. We will not be sending home pledge forms, but the students are asked to donate a loonie or toonie for the event.
We are well underway with our letter/sound review. This is a great time to reinforce with your child at home what sounds each letter makes. We are not looking at the vowel letters at this point (a,e,i,o, and u), those come later. The students participate in centre activities to practise the letter of the day.
